20FT SIDE OPENING CONTAINERS

Side Door containers are a popular choice in the road and rail market as they have the flexibility for side loading. If you have overlength cargo, odd sized pallets, or have machinery to load, the Side Door container is an excellent solution. In addition, the bi-fold doors make it easier to work in a smaller foot print if you don’t have the room for a full door swing.
The Side Door container comes in different sizes and features. There is the standard single-side opening at 8ft6 or 9ft6 heights, and there is the dual-side opening at 9ft6 and 9ft 10 heights which is a popular choice specifically in the road and rail market. These variants typically come with adjustable mezzanine decks and load binders.
A word of warning: ensure the container is balanced - if the frame is racked you will find closing the side doors... difficult.
